| This painting was the genesis of what I refer to as my "misty" series. I wanted to paint a scene of boats in fog. I decided to highlight them with a light source which finally became a window in a cabin on a lake. As the painting progressed, the scene became a cabin surrounded by the boats of a summer camp. | |
