| This was the second painting in the Misty series. I started with a photograph I had taken of a fishing village on Great Waas Island in Maine. I liked the setting, but everyone paints harbors in sunlight. Since I wanted to convey a particular place - New England - I decided to use fog to set the mood of the scene. | |
