Lisa is a self-taught artist who formerly worked in oils. From 1973 until her retirement in 1998, she was a Special Agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). In 1997, Lisa became interested in watercolors and now works solely in that medium. She has studied under Nita Engle, AWS, internationally known landscape artist, and has attended workshops of several well-known artists to include Ted Mitchen, AWS, and Cheng-Khee Chee, AWS. In addition, she has attended art courses at Du Cret School of Art in North Plainfield, N.J. and the Torpedo Factory in Alexandria, VA. Lisa is the New Jersey editor of Fine Art Connoisseur Magazine and currently resides at the New Jersey Shore. Lisa Grob is an Elected Member of the New Jersey Watercolor Society; Associate Member of the American and National Watercolor Societies; Exhibiting member of the Guild of Creative Art, Shrewsbury, N.J. (Secretary 2005-2007), New Jersey Chapter - American Artist Professional League and the Plein Air Artists of the Jersey Coast. |
